CATHODIC PROTECTION
Cathodic protection is an electrical
method of controlling corrosion where
corrosion is not eliminated but transferred
to a sacrificial metals called anodes. ACS
offer design, supply of local and imported
materials, installation and commissioning
both for Galvanic or Sacrificial Metal and
Inpressed Current Cathodic Protection.
The design is reviewed and approved by
a NACE CP 4 Certified Cathodic
Protection Specialist.

PHASED ARRAY ULTRASONIC TESTING (PAUT) AND TIME OF FLIGHT DIFFRACTION (TOFD)
Better and more advanced than conventional NDT, it is widely used in boiler tube weld testing as replacement for radiographic testing. Since it has no radiation, production
welding can continue even while PAUT/TOFDi is On-Going. Defective welds are immediately marked for repair minimizing downtime Furthermore, PAUT testing is faster five (5) times the rate of radiographic testing.

WELDING AND COATING INSPECTIONS
Coating failure is usually due to improper
surface preparation and application of
coating. This also happens during
welding. Without checking the Welding
Procedure Specification, before, during
and after welding discontinuities or
defects can occur. ACS can offer both for
supply of Welding and Coating Inspector
who will help ensure that production is not
delay due to repair of defects.

Awards & Achievements
Awards & Achievement Asia Corrosion Services, Inc. was established in 1983 and it’s major project was in 1988 awarded by PNOC Energy. It was the radiographic testing of pipeline being constructed and installed by the sub-contractor Engineering Equipment Inc. (EEI) This major project was followed by another one in 1993. The expansion of Shell Refinery , STAR Project was awarded to Fluor Daniels and as a results Fluor Daniels, Inc. awarded to ACS all the NDT requirements of the project. Expertise of ACS personnel was tapped by Moody Group. resulting to establishment of Moody Phillipines until 2012 when Moody Group became Intertek.
